F1 Career

Throughout his F1 career, Sainz has driven for teams such as Toro Rosso, Renault, McLaren, Ferrari, and, since the 2025 season, Williams.

Beginnings: He started his career in karting in 2006, winning several junior titles before moving to single-seaters. He joined the Red Bull Junior Team program and became the Formula Renault 3.5 Series champion in 2014.


Formula 1: He made his F1 debut in 2015 with the Toro Rosso team (now Visa Cash App RB). His progression led him to drive for Renault, then McLaren, and finally to the prestigious Scuderia Ferrari in 2021.


 Achievements in F1

Wins: Sainz has won four Formula 1 Grands Prix: Great Britain 2022, Singapore 2023, Australia 2024, and his last victory with Ferrari in Mexico 2024.


Podiums: He has accumulated a total of 29 podium finishes throughout his career, making him the second Spanish driver with the most podiums, only behind Fernando Alonso.



In 2022, he achieved his best year statistically, finishing fifth in the overall drivers' standings with 246 points, one win, and nine podiums, surpassing drivers like Lewis Hamilton.
